This is a blog devoted to my 4 boys and one lone girl. It is just an avenue for me to remember stories that happen throughout our day, so that we can cherish these early childhood years together.

Heaven
On our way home from Carraba's, we started talking about Max's trip to Israel and how Chup is really excited about it, especially since it is their last adventure together. This obviously led to a conversation about Chup-pop dying and how he may only have 10 years or less left.
I said, "you never know, as healthy as he is, he could have a good 20-30 years left" and Max said that usually taller men die younger.
Luke got that face where he was holding back tears and it totally melted our hearts. Here we were talking about Chup's death so matter of fact, and not even thinking about how the kids would feel about that. I tried to reassure Luke, saying that he is so healthy and will probably at least live another 10 years, but this didn't help Luke. He said, "but then I'll only be in high school, and 10 years will fly by!" He cried a little thinking about his sweet Chup-pop.
Yes, that will be a very very sad day, but we were able to talk about heaven and how we will all have so much fun seeing him and Patricia one day, and even all the Bible characters!
Luke and Andrew began to get excited about heaven and talk about questions they would like to ask people when they get to heaven, and here they are:
God: how did you exist before time?
Noah: what was it like on the ark with all the stinky animals for a year?
Peter and John: how was it to see Jesus rise from the dead?
to people who saw angels while they were still on earth: what was it like to see angels?
